Route/Tracking
The Lonach Highwaymen’s ride was tracked using Instamapper software on a Blackberry Curve 8900 and the riders position shown on an embedded map. The position was updated every 4 mins.

The ride started on the 24th September a finished on the 9th October 2009. The route through England is based on the Cycle Touring Club’s recommended route using Youth Hostels for overnight stops. Then head through the Borders, Edinburgh, Pitlochry and Inverness. Total distance is approximately 1066 miles.
